For view month, team has hard worked to build this vehicle, start from making concept, getting finance support, and the building of the vehicle.
It was start from recruitment of team member. There are fourteen students on team that chosen and ready to giving all attention to reach the purpose of team. It was devide into technical and supporting team.
Technical team make design and fabricate the vehicle, while supporting team work for finance supporting, and marketing communication.
Until now, it is quite satisfy that team could be supported by several sponsors beside, although it is not enough yet. And Sapu Angin I has reach the finishing step of the body fabrication. Our next target are getting more sponsor's supports and race the Sapu Angin I on circuit.

For one month we have hard working on the making of steering system, monocoque chasis, finishing of the body, and transmission system. We feel that realizing design to become the real thing is quite difficult. Sometime the design is not good enough for the car. And if it happened, we redesign, and rebuilt them, because we must be sure that our car is the best.
Our next schedule is Sapu Angin I launching on Rektorat ITS building and driving test on Kenjeran Park Circuit on January 11, 2010. It is very important that from then, we will know how our engine work.

And the day when we launched SAPU ANGIN finally has been passed. It was great that public attention and supporting were amazing. A lot of national media came to watch the launching. There are a lot of onews about us in the national media this day. For that, we had worked very very hard to prepare the car. Before that day we have tried to race SAPU ANGIN I several times, and there was no big problem. But it was not satisfy that there was transmission trouble on the car when we toke running test on the launching day. For that mistake, we had evaluated and repaired the trouble this day. And now, the car can run better than before.
After this, we will take holiday for one week. Then the next schedule are evaluating overall SAPU ANGIN I, preparation the engine for maximal efficiency and the building for SAPU ANGIN II.

For now, we are still building chasis and body of SAPU ANGIN II, and developing advance engine system. We hope we will get the best result.

We are still developing our fuel control system on advance step. For now it has good performance. We can control the fuel flow rate easily as we want. It is just waiting for running test again.

Mesin ITS Team is one of the team that will participate Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2010. The International competition Shell Eco-Marathon is a big and chalenging competition which held by Shell – one of the biggest oil company in the world now—and is intended for a students from high school and collegee, to design and create a vehicle that probably could be a solution in the future. That solution is how to build a vehicle that can save a fuel efficiently.
This competition was held for several times in Europe and America, but for Asia is accomplished for the first time on July 2010, in Kuala Lumpur, Malasyia. Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) , one of the biggest institute in Indonesia have the right to send its team to follow Shell Eco Marathon Asia, and thats us! We all so excited to become a part of the biggest international technology event like this, and we really working hard to create the vehicle that probably can be the most inovative and efficient vehicle in the world (hopefully…).
Shell Eco-Marathon Asia can be a great breakthrough in technology world, where the young generation play a role and have participate to try hard to create a vehicle that economist, efficient, and also green and clean technology. And every person in our team is the young generation that don’t want to just sitting comfortly as a spectator in this event, but we want to be the young generation that care enough to save the world and environment, and of course the global energy crisis. Now, we are in progress to create that vehicle.
